Games Workshop has opened the Shadowvaults for Kill Team! What are you going to snag this weekend on pre-order?

In the hellish close confines of the space hulk Gallowdark, elite kill teams stalk each other through haunted corridors. Millenia ago, an Imperial Inquisitor and a regiment of loyal Cadian Kasrkin recovered an ancient xenos artefact, but their ship was lost in the warp and fused with the colossal floating mass of Gallowdark. Only a few years have passed for the Kasrkin survivors trapped within its time-bending mass, though thousands have gone by in the galaxy outside. Now, the Necron owners of that relic have awoken from eons of slumber – and Technomancer Hamanet the Relentless of the Tsarakura Dynasty will stop at nothing to reclaim his lost creation.

Kill Team: Shadowvaults is a full expansion box for Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team, the ultimate sci-fi skirmish game. It includes miniatures for two complete new Kill Teams – the hard-bitten elite Kasrkin shock troops of Cadia, and the newly-awoken Necrons of the Hierotek Circle. They’re packed together with loads of space hulk terrain, which is fully compatible with the set found in Kill Team: Into the Dark, along with transfers, a double-sided game board, and a rules manual including missions, background material exploring the mysterious setting, and full rosters for the two kill teams.

In this box you’ll find:

1x 120-page Kill Team: Shadowvaults rules manual: Plunge deeper into the Gallowdark, with background material exploring this vast space hulk and the operatives seeking to escape its clutches. This manual also offers new rules, datacards, and background tables for both the Kasrkin and Hierotek Circle kill teams, plus additional killzone rules for sentry turrets and robots, nine Shadow Ops missions with new rules for infiltration, and nine Critical Ops missions for playing in the Gallowdark.

18x Citadel miniatures: Two full kill teams, including Astra Militarum miniatures available for the first time in this box, each featuring a wide array of customisation and alternate assembly options. Extra components allow for deep personalisation of your Kill Team, and many models can be assembled as multiple different kinds of operative.

Kasrkin Kill Team: – 10 all-new elite Astra Militarum troops, available for the first time in this set – replete with incredible details and loads of options – Components to build specialists like a Combat Medic, Demo-trooper, Sharpshooter, Gunner, and Recon-trooper – Full transfer sheet with 597 markings and icons

Hierotek Circle Kill Team: – Eight Necron models – five of these can be built as Immortals or Deathmarks, along with a Cryptek Technomancer, and an upgrade frame to build mechanical aides – Extra components to build specialists like the Apprentek, Immortal Despotek, Plasmacyte Reanimator and Plasmacyte Accelerator – Additional cosmetic options to customise your Necrons

45x pieces of Killzone: Gallowdark terrain: This modular system of walls, doors, and pillars can be arranged in a huge variety of configurations to create different room and corridor layouts, with glueless assembly allowing you to adjust their positioning in-game. It includes 11 new pieces of terrain, including a sentry turret, robot crawler, security panels, cameras, bomb, weapons lockers, and equipment stashes.

1x double-sided Shadowvaults game board: Set up your terrain on this folding cardboard game board measuring 30″ by 22″, depicting the battle-scarred deck plating of the space hulk on both sides.

You’ll need a copy of Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team Core Book to make full use of this supplement.

Adeptus Titanictus is a highly strategic game at its core, which makes it ideal for competitive play. This guidebook provides tournament organisers, club members, and gaming groups with new ways to get more out of Matched Play games. Along with six Deployment Maps, and a new system of Primary and Secondary Objectives, you’ll find a comprehensive set of guidelines for organising and scoring competitive games, including doubles events.

Even if you’re not planning on running a tournament, there’s plenty here for any Adeptus Titanicus fan. You’ll find handy charts and tables for some of the most commonly-looked up items like weapon stats, traits for your Titans, Psychic Powers, and loads more. There’s even a section on running narrative and campaign events, along with extra rules to add variety and meaningful progression from game to game.

This 56-page softback book contains:

– Organised Play: Guidance for building army lists, battlegroups, including rules and restrictions for three different sizes of games – Skirmish, Confrontation, and Epic Clash. You’ll also find clarification on various rules that could affect Matched Play.

– Matched Play Objectives and Deployment Maps: Lays out the three-step method for setting up a game, including choosing from six different Deployment Maps, setting Primary and Secondary Objectives, deployment, and determining game length.

– Tournaments: How to run a competitive event with roles like a referee and scorekeeper, ranking players, breaking ties, round timing, and how to choose an appropriate size for your games.

– Doubles and Narrative Events: This section explains how to adjust the rules for doubles events with four players, including four Doubles Events Deployment Maps. The Narrative Events section explains what to keep in mind when creating a story, how to use Conquest Benefits, and creating branching structures.

– Additional Rules: a new set of rules to add variety to your games, plus Conquest Benefits for narrative games.

– Battlegroup Allegiances Appendix: Overview of the three Titan Legion and four Knight Household allegiances.

– Rules Reference: Provides points, weapon options, and weapon reference charts for eight classes of Titans. You’ll also find a summary of weapon traits, and reference tables for Reactor Overloads, Awakened Machine Spirits, Catastrophic Damage, and Psi-Titan Manifestations. Also included are six different Orders, and four Psi-Titan Psychic Powers.

You’ll need a copy of the Adeptus Titanicus: The Horus Heresy Rulebook to use the contents of this book.

The rules for creating a space hulk layout found in Kill Team: Into the Dark call for a deck of standard playing cards. Why not use this deck of 54 themed playing cards to do the job?

Each card measures 57mm by 88mm, and features a linen finish for smooth action, and they come packed in a handy box. Each suit features three court cards bearing character art of Kill Team operatives, plus you’ll find two jokers printed with a leering Kill Team skull.

Modern Citadel plastic kits are packed with details, extras, and add-on bits, including some very small pieces. The Citadel Tools design team had these fine details in mind when they redesigned the beloved cutters used by so many Warhammer hobbyists. This new set of Super Fine Detail Cutters includes a number of improved features:

– Ultra thin blades (about three times smaller than the previous model) allow you to get into tight spaces with ease, increasing visibility and control – Blades meet perfectly flush on the back, reducing the amount of additional cleanup needed and reducing the risk of pieces pinging away when used properly – Bump-stopping design makes it impossible to mash the blades together with too much pressure, which means they’ll stay sharp for longer – Rubberised contoured handles, including flares near the blades for added control, precision, and safety. – Extended handles to reduce the pressure required to make a cut, reducing hand fatigue

Do you want to drill tiny holes in your miniature gun barrels so they look like they could fire miniature bullets? Want to experiment with pinning hard-to-fix pieces in place when building and converting your miniatures? A reliable drill suitable for use on miniatures can be used in all manner of ways, and the Citadel Tools design team were eager to take on the challenge of redesigning the hobby drill to make it easier and safer to use by incorporating a number of design features:

– Designed primarily in a light-weight hard plastic to reduce hand fatigue – Ergonomic shape incorporating ridges and grooves increases control and allows you to safely exert pressure – Bit-securing barrel is recessed into the handle, so it won’t unscrew during use – Freely rotating end cap allowing you to push down gently and rotate at the same time – Includes four bits in two sizes, perfect for a wide variety of Citadel model kits, stored in their own container when not in use

The incredibly popular mouldline remover has been redesigned by the Citadel Tools team to be more useful than ever. This version of the Mouldline Remover includes a number of improved features:

– Longer and thinner nose, roughly half the size of the previous version, reaches every nook and cranny while increasing visibility and precision – Ergonomic handle is tapered in the front, allowing you to change to a pencil-like control grip for fine work, with a chunky base to allow greater comfort and reduce hand fatigue during normal use – Notched back designed to clean up the tapered edges of your bases, making it quick and easy to get a paint-ready finish

Every Warhammer hobbyist needs a hobby knife, so the Citadel Tools design team created one just for them. It features a fully sculpted hard plastic handle, and incorporates a number of clever features for safety and convenience:

– Fixed single slot blade barrel, ensuring perfect alignment – Ribbed shroud behind the blade, allowing safer downward pressure and maximum precision – Ergonomic handle to reduce hand fatigue, and prevent rolling on your desk – Back-weighted design, so it’s less likely to fall with the blade down – Blade changing thread recessed into the handle so the blade doesn’t loosen during use – Blade cap

The Citadel Tools Knife also comes with a pack of six replacement blades in a container.

The Citadel Tools Knife is only available through retail stores and trade stockists. Visit your local Warhammer store with our store finder.
