The UTSA Roadrunners football season is finally here. But before you fill up your truck with grills, brews and rowdy fans, you need to know what you can and can't do when it comes to tailgating at the Alamodome this college football season.

With the team's first game coming up on September 3 against the University of Houston, we've put together a quick list of Alamodome tailgating do's and dont's if you're planning to get rowdy before the game kicks off.

The Alamodome parking lot opens 6 1/2 hours before the game and remains open for one hour after the game concludes. The parking rate is $25 and is strictly a "cashless operation," according to the Alamodome's website. Lot A, just off the I-37 North access road, is where accessible parking and drop-off/pick-ups can happen. Lots B, C and D are all for the public to park, but there are plenty of spots around the dome, like at the convention center lot. Lot D is also where ride-hailing drivers can pick up and drop off fans.

Clear bag policies have been in effect for a few seasons now. Fans can bring clear bags that are smaller than 12"x 6" x 12" and small bags like a clutch bag or anything smaller than 5.5" x 8.5". Medical necessary and diaper bags are also allowed. The simplest way to bring items in a bag into the Alamodome is by placing them in a one gallon freezer bag.

- Folding chairs and their carrying bags.
